We begin to teach arrays in 2nd grade and continue that learning in 3rd grade. I love using pictures to help students practice arrays. These images can be used for math blocks or as a mini-lesson. I’ve collected many images, but I am including some of my favorites here in a slideshow. When we use arrays we are trying to build connections and relationships between the numbers for students.
